Warehouse Facilities

Sullivan Moving & Storage has 170,000 square feet of clean, professional warehouse space in Southern California and Arizona.  Headquartered in San Diego, Sullivan has state of the art warehouses with truck scales strategically placed to provide quality service to customers in the Southwestern United States and through our van line family throughout all parts of the world.  Our Phoenix location provides 40,000 square feet to service both household and electronic distribution.

Equipment
In our fleet of moving vans we have 51 local units and 30 long distance tractor-trailers, all fully equipped and modern. Sullivan places an emphasis on self hauling corporate account bookings. Our Interstate fleet in 2004 hauled more than $8 Million in line haul revenue.

Training

All of our employees providing packing or moving services go through a rigorous training and certification program, including classroom and field training. Our quality manager routinely monitors and evaluates our program and people.

In addition to our Household Relocation services, we have within our company divisions specializing in other types of specialty transportation services.

XEROX Distribution

Sullivan Moving & Storage is proud to have been the XEROX distribution center for San Diego County for the last 30 years and for the last 5 years their exclusive distributor for the entire state of Arizona.  Among 55 carriers, Sullivan has been Xerox's top rated carrier five out of the last ten years. We have been certified with them as a Quality Partner since 1996, as an extension of their Malcom Baldridge Award.  An independent study for XEROX by Mercer Management found XEROX carriers Benchmark for service and price and World Class for quality.

We provide XEROX with Inventory Management using a unique bar code scanning system. Our Special Service crews have been trained to do low and midrange prepping, assembly and trouble shooting. We do customer scheduling and can provide sensitive inside deliveries, including stair crawling and rigging. We provide removal of old equipment including packaging and shipping back to manufacturer.

We provide storage, distribution and specialized pickup or delivery services for a number of products and customers.

Trade Show and Electronics

Sullivan's specialized High-Value Division provides extensive communications, tracking and follow through services. Our drivers and crews have extensive training and experience in the handling of crated or pad-wrap product. All our trucks have air-ride suspension and carry pads, j-bars, pallet jacks and other specialized equipment necessary for proper handling of high value products. Our long distance trucks are outfitted with Van Star®, a satellite tracking and communication system. This system allows for pinpoint tracking and digital communications with the driver in his tractor, ensuring trouble free service.

Our trade-show coordinators are trained and experienced in the routing and monitoring of trade show transportation from beginning to end. We coordinate with other trade show providers, including exhibit houses, show management, drayage contractors and installation-dismantle labor. We help monitor the freight documentation to keep the process moving as smooth as possible.

We have won numerous quality and safety awards for High-Value Transportation including being named by Distribution Magazine as their Quality Carrier for seven years in a row.
